Jonathan Duckworth, our People and Development Director, set-up credible and cost-effective HR service delivery for the Rugby Football Union as its first ever head of HR before being headhunted to become European HR Director for one of the world’s largest brands in Harley-Davidson.
On returning to the UK he became the first Group HR Director for Jockey Club Racecourses and its related services and then helped run an international motor racing series in partnership with Ferrari.
He has also provided non-executive HR support to Sporting Equals since 2008 and is a member of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport And Physical Activity (CIMSPA) Professional Development Board. A professional mentor and judge for the HR Director of the Year Awards he has a Masters degree in HR Management and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
